How to make a ‘Peanuts’ version of yourself

We’ve seen some fun movie promotions recently. The NWA biopic “Straight Outta Compton” had people creating their own logos. “The Walk” is touring the country with a virtual reality experience letting movie goers see what it’s like to walk a tight rope. And now, you can create your own “Peanuts” character.

All you have to do is head to PeanutizeMe.com. Pick the hair, attire, eyebrow and mouth shape, pants and shoes, and just like that, you are ready to insert yourself into the world of Charlie Brown.

That’s me, above. “The Peanuts Movie” opens on November 6.

Watch Transformers ruin your favorite movies

Let’s face it, Transformers (at least the movie versions) are the worst.

Just take a look at these clips from your favorite movies and see what happens when you add a few shape-shifting robots to the mix.

Not sure why it took so long for me to discover this clip. Thanks, What’s Trending.

Watch the first trailer for Disney’s live-action THE JUNGLE BOOK

Admittedly, it’s been a while since I’ve seen THE JUNGLE BOOK – but I don’t remember it quite like this.

Disney premiered the first trailer for the new live-action version of THE JUNGLE BOOK yesterday. It’s directed by Jon Favreau and features the voice talents of Bill Murray, Scarlett Johannson, Idris Elba and many more.

The trailer features lots of running, water, fire, talking snakes – and yes – a glimpse at Baloo. They’re saving that full reveal for later.

Watch THE JUNGLE BOOK trailer below. The movie opens on April 15, 2016….

Indians fireworks guy sets them off for the wrong team, feels shame

Think you had a bad day yesterday?

The Kansas City Royals were visiting the Cleveland Indians last night. Alex Rios hit a home run, which was met with a fireworks display inside the ballpark. The only problem?

Rios is a Royal. That’s the VISITING team.

Here’s how it played out on the broadcast….

Yes, he had one job. But you have to feel bad for this guy.

Watch Tom Cruise hang onto the side of a flying plane for Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation

That HAD to be green screen. It just had to.

Nope.

Tom Cruise is famous for doing his own stunts – but hanging onto the side of a plane while it takes off? You’re 53! Take it easy!

A new featurette for the upcoming Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation gives us a brief look at how the scene was shot and it tells us that Cruise gave them eight takes. EIGHT.

Wow.

Take a look at the footage below…

Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation opens on July 31. And once again, Tom Cruise is 53 years-old.

Watch the official Suicide Squad trailer from Comic-Con

Warner Bros. really wanted their Suicide Squad trailer to be exclusive to Comic-Con. These days, that’s not possible. A poor quality, leaked video surfaced soon after the presentation. Now the studio has gone ahead and posted the full footage in the quality it deserves.

In case you’re not up on the Suicide Squad, it’s is a collection of DC villains who end up in prison, only to be put to work on covert operations by the United States government. Chaos, I assume, ensues.

Villains/cast in the film include Deadshot (Will Smith), Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), El Diablo (Jay Hernandez), and Slipknot (Adam Beach).

But the two standouts appear to be Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn and Jared Leto’s Joker. Both look appropriately charismatic and disturbing.

Along with the video, the studio released this statement…..

“Warner Bros. Pictures and our anti-piracy team have worked tirelessly over the last 48 hours to contain the Suicide Squad footage that was pirated from Hall H on Saturday. We have been unable to achieve that goal. Today we will release the same footage that has been illegally circulating on the web, in the form it was created and high quality with which it was intended to be enjoyed. We regret this decision as it was our intention to keep the footage as a unique experience for the Comic Con crowd, but we cannot continue to allow the film to be represented by the poor quality of the pirated footage stolen from our presentation.”

Pampers Poop Face commercial captures babies in slow-mo glory

We’re sitting at the dinner table last night. My son is finishing his plate when oh so subtlety….

The lean.

Then…

The face.

Every parent knows it. I ask him, “Hey, you’re two and a half. Do you want to go sit on the toilet?”

“No thanks,” he answers.

At least he’s polite about it. It still cracks me up how he’ll just stop and make that face anywhere at anytime. Whether we are in the privacy of our own home or stuck in a long line at Dylan’s Candy Bar (sorry about that), he’ll fill his pants wherever he darn well pleases. The ultimate diaper mic drop.

Pampers has a new commercial celebrating the “Poop Face.” It’s shot 400 frames-per-second which leads to some stunning slow-motion, because every parent needs these moments cemented in their brains forever. Check it out… (via Ad Week)

Exploding ketchup prank leaves man screaming

First they were putting Mentos into two-liters of pop, now comes baking soda into bottles of ketchup.

Somebody made the discovery that adding the powder to a ketchup bottle then shaking it up leads to a crazy explosion. YouTuber Joey Salads played the prank on his roommate and posted a video back in April. It’s been viewed more than 260,000 times, and you’ll see why when you watch it.

Check out the exploding ketchup prank below, which does contain some NSFW language (via Holy Kaw)….

Watch the lost Forrest Gump beatboxing scene

I’ve seen “Forrest Gump” quite a few times, but for some reason I can’t remember seeing this particular scene. It really takes Forrest’s relationship with his mother to another level.

And who knew Sally Field had such skills?

Check it out….
