Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana is officially unveiling its new launched B&M wing coaster to the press and select coaster enthusiasts today. While I’m not there (boo), we are getting our first official POV from the ride (yeah).

I’m finally digging out after being buried in trailers.
The latest look at Star Wars: The Force Awakens is just…the best. It’s clear that J.J. Abrams and company get what makes this series special. Let’s hope the movie is just as great as this trailer…

Marvel is promoting this summer’s ANT-MAN with a unique take on the movie billboard. These teeny ant-sized ads have been popping up in Australia. They even have their own LED lights for the overnight hours.

There is nothing better than waking up at 1:45am to good news.
The Nashville Predators took the Chicago Blackhawks to THREE overtimes on Tuesday night. Game 4 of their NHL Playoff series didn’t start until 8:30 p.m. central – and it didn’t end until Brent Seabrook put a slapshot into the net in the 1 a.m. hour.

So the new Terminator movie is going to take an interesting twist. How great would it be to sit in the theater, expecting yet another Terminator story that’s been told time and time again and BOOM. Wow, DIDN’T SEE THAT COMING! This is actually interesting!
That experience will no longer happen for me because I watched the second trailer for Terminator Genisys. For that reason, part of me doesn’t even want to post this trailer. Why should I subject anybody else to this spoilage?
But you are a human being with choices to make. You can decide to watch it, although if you are a big Terminator person and can’t wait to see the movie, I would advise against it.
Just wait until the movie opens on July 1 and avoid anybody who has seen this trailer and any future TV spots…..

Postmodern Jukebox is known for their unique spin on popular music. This time they put together a version of Radiohead’s “Creep” with former American Idol contestant and Wheeling native Haley Reinhart at the center. This isn’t her first go with Postmodern Jukebox, either. She’s also helped out with covers of Meghan Trainor and Tove Lo.
But the recent Radiohead cover is my favorite. Check it out below…
Sorry, you don’t call this dish “Chicken & Waffles” at Lincoln Park’s Batter & Berries.
They call it Cluck-N-Gaufe (Goof).
I guess it IS unfair to just say “chicken and waffles.” It’s unlike any other chicken and waffle plate I’ve ever had. It’s a sweet potato waffle that is actually stuffed with pieces of fried chicken. Don’t ask me how Chef Derek Rylon does it.
Off to the side, it comes with another fried chicken breast drizzled in a nutmeg hot sauce, and the waffle is topped with a dollop of maple butter. No syrup needed.
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite breakfast spots in the city. Also try the biscuits and gravy – it’s made with chicken sausage and cheese-stuffed biscuits. The french toast flights are fantastic as well.
They open at 8am and I recommend getting there early. If not, be prepared to wait!
